A valve grinding machine is a common method of light finishing processing its sealing surface in the valve manufacturing process.
Grinding with a valve lapping machine can make the valve sealing surface obtain high dimensional accuracy, geometric shape accuracy, and surface roughness. After grinding the valve sealing surface can usually achieve the dimensional accuracy of 0.001mm ~ 0.003mm; geometric shape accuracy (such as unevenness) of 0.001mm. the grinding project, the research tool, and the sealing surface is well fit together, the research tool along the fit surface for complex grinding motion. Abrasive is placed between the grinding tool and the sealing surface. A valve grind (commonly referred to as a valve job or valve lap) can be crucial for proper functioning valves/seals. It is the process of smoothing out the engine valves so that they are effectively able to seal in the valve seat in the cylinder head to completely seal the engine’s combustion chamber.

In general, the valve seat, the valve head in the centering clamping suitable and stable conditions need to be processed according to the valve seat bore site suitable centering sleeve before the study. It is recommended to use 800-1000# grit grinding paste. To study out of the ring bright-line shall prevail. Do not appear with a swing.
